On Carnival Saturday, February 14, 2026, the most traditional Lawyers’ Ball, dating back to the time of the Congress of Vienna, will take place, this year under the theme of Valentine’s Day – February 14.

The entrance of the guests of honor after the Schlumberger champagne reception is a tradition of the ball, as is the ball’s opening, which is once again in the trusted hands of Prof. Thomas Schäfer-Elmayer. The Young Ladies’ and Young Gentlemen’s Committee and the waltz formation of the Elmayer Dance School, under the direction of Mag. iur. Reinhard Hohenegger, will perform the classical opening dance, and vocally,

KS Clemens Unterreiner from the Vienna State Opera will present “Dark Red Roses.”

After the speeches, the ball will be officially opened by the

Federal Minister of Justice, Dr.ⁱⁿ Anna Sporrer.

The midnight show this time will bring the three-time Eurovision winner

Johnny Logan to the Festsaal stage!

For disco fans, there will again be the Justice Clubbing Deluxe with the popular Judge-DJs Waldi & Wolf, for which discounted clubbing tickets are available as an alternative to the full-price ball tickets.
