Registrations for the Ball of Legal Professionals 2026 on February 14th, 2026, are now open.
General Information for Debutantes and Debutants
- Good Viennese Waltz skills (left-turn waltz) are required.
- Cost of the ball ticket: EUR 15,-
- Headpiece for Ladies: Ladies will receive a headpiece they can keep.
- Opening Cocktail: Date to be announced
- Champagne Reception: In the anteroom on the evening of the ball – exact time to be announced.
- Snacks and Beverages: Available in the debutants’ cloakroom on the evening of the ball.
Dress Code for the Couple on Ball Day:
- For Ladies: Snow-white ball gown, long white gloves, closed white shoes, white stockings.
- For Gentlemen:
- Tails: White tailcoat shirt, white bow tie, white vest (no wristwatch), white gloves, black patent leather shoes.
- Alternatively, Tuxedo: White tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, white gloves, black, well-polished shoes.
Participation in the preliminary dance and subsequent rehearsals is required to be eligible to open the Ball of Legal Professionals as a debutant.

- Ball Rehearsal Dates:
- Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 ,8:15-10:00 PM, Tanzschule Elmayer
- Monday, February 09th, 2026, 8:00-10:00 PM, Hofburg
- Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, 8:00–10:00 PM, Hofburg
- Final rehearsal on the day of the ball, February 14th, 2026, Hofburg, 4:00 PM
