Masumi Ormandy

“Young at heart” could be the credo of the Japanese artist Masumi Ormandy!

Time seems to leave hardly any traces on the jazz singer’s appearance. The secret of the now unbelievably 85! year old lies in her pure love of life and her passion for singing. Her pet name “Lady sunshine” couldn’t be more accurate.
With her dynamic performances of jazz standards and selected pop songs, such as “Misty” or “As time goes by,” she inspires an international audience with performances in Europe and the USA.

Masumi Ormandy sings in different languages, a “Besame mucho” sounds just as authentic as a wonderfully intoned “Come prima”.
The artist performed at the Lawyers’ Ball in 2023 with brilliant success, and the artist was able to be hired again in 2024.

Masumi Ormandy has released five CDs so far, on which she sings in English, Japanese, Italian and Spanish.
