34 YEARS AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!<\/h2>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]\u201eWider die Gewalt\u201c is <\/span>marking a strong sign against violence <\/span><\/b>since 34 years!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Former Austrian Chancellor Dr. Franz Vranitzky founded the non profit organisation \u201cAgainst Domestic Violence\u201d in May 1990.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Purpose of the organisation is to financially support programs fighting violence and support club charities helping the victims of violence.. The organisation is particularly focusing on violence in the family.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In favour of the original initiative the project became a public benefit. During the last <\/span>34 Years <\/span><\/b>the organisation could raise a total yield of more than\u00a0<\/span> 3,5 Million Euro!\u00a0<\/span><\/b>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”15493″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This amount coud be reached with the help of more than <\/span>450 international artists <\/span><\/b>performing at the annual Benefit Gala in Vienna, the profit of the tickets, donations and corporate sponsorings.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The artists are all performing <\/span>free of charge<\/span><\/b>. The net profit of the different events throughout the year are transferred to the organisations who applied for a sponsorship during the year and have been selected by the Executive Board.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The gala event is very well recognized within the press world and has welcomed more than 450 artists over the past 25 years such as <\/span>ESC Winner<\/span><\/b> Conchita, <\/span><\/b>Melanie C, Paul Potts, OPUS, Xavier Naidoo, Wolfgang Ambros, Roland Kaiser, Jeanette Biedermann, Klaus Maria Brandauer, Christiane H\u00f6rbiger, DJ \u00d6tzi, Rainhard Fendrich, Der Graf von Unheilig, Albert Hammond, Udo J\u00fcrgens, Semino Rossi, Andr\u00e9 Heller, Karl Markovics, Christina St\u00fcrmer, Bonnie Tyler <\/span><\/b>and many more.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The organisation was able to help over <\/span>280 associations and organisations <\/span><\/b>with the money raised to continue their work in helping the victims of violence.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
